GPO – Operational Research Group
The Operational Research Group (GPO), from the Joinville Technology Center of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, promotes research and extension activities in the area of Transport and Logistics Engineering, focusing mainly on mathematical modeling and optimization methods for transport problems. Logistics, Routing, Scheduling, Task Sequencing, Traffic Engineering, Systems Simulation, Transport Systems, Stochastic Processes and Urban Mobility. Its objective is to stimulate, disseminate, promote and leverage scientific and technical production applied to the transportation and production chains sector. Its main objectives are to foster debates, discussions, lectures, technical visits, courses and meetings among its participants.
