Renata Cavion

Architect and Urbanist (UNISINOS, 1999) with undergraduate exchange in Architecture at the University of Sevilla / Spain (with Intercampus ALE scholarship, 1997), Geoprocessing Specialist (UNISINOS, 2004), Master in Civil Engineering in the Multifinal Technical Registration area and Territorial Management (UFSC, 2008), PhD in Sciences obtained from the Physical Geography Program (USP, with CAPES scholarship, 2014) doing a doctoral internship at the Department of Architecture and Territorial Planning of the Università di Bologna / Italy (with Santander International Mobility scholarship) , 2013). She is a Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina – UFSC, in the Department of Mobility Engineering since 2013, where she teaches subjects related to the design and operation of transportation terminals, architectural design and urban planning. She was coordinator of the PlanMob Project, which helped 8 municipalities in the northeast of Santa Catarina to simultaneously develop their mobility plans. In addition, she is the supervisor of the Transport and Logistics Laboratory (2019-2022), where she conducts research on urban and regional mobility planning and analysis of passenger and cargo transport terminals (airports, subway, bus and rail stations). She is co-leader of the Management and Project Research Group and co-leader of the Operation and Transport Systems Research Group.
