Strategic and entrepreneurial management of transport and logistics

Description: For organizations to be competitive in a market where aspects of economic, financial, and environmental performance are assessed at similar levels of importance, they need to consider decision-making processes appropriate to this new context. For transport, this is fundamental because of its indispensable role in production processes (supply) and commercial transactions (physical distribution). In order to better meet demand, organizations evaluate different transport performance indicators and this choice can strongly interfere with the way the organization operates in the market, essentially the performance of the supply chain to which it operates. Thus, in order to establish the organizational strategy, it is relevant to consider innovation as a driving force for a strategic and entrepreneurial management in the transport field and with a broad vision for the entire supply chain. Thus it is proposed to research: how to carry out an entrepreneurial strategic management of transport and logistics? This project assumes that for a strategic and entrepreneurial management of transport and logistics, inserted in an innovation environment, it must be based on some aspects. These aspects include: intermodality, sustainability, effectiveness, among others.
